KNOW YOUR AUTHOR
The Birth of a Writer
Her love for writing began with a powerful discovery: words create worlds. She was captivated by storytelling’s ability to reshape reality, decide fates, challenge morality, and turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. In her world, even the kindest aunty can become the villain. The power to bend reality through language is what drew her to become an author.
Finding Strength Early in Life
Childhood had its challenges. Being judged for her appearance hurt deeply—until she learned that when someone points a finger at you, four point back at them. That shift from seeking approval to owning her worth built her confidence. She believes self-respect is the foundation of strength—without it, no one else will value you.
A Mind Shaped by Discipline & Imagination
Raised between language and discipline, she was shaped by two powerful influences—her mother, an English teacher who nurtured her love for words and curiosity, and her father, a 1971–72 war Navy veteran who later built a ceramic tile machinery business from scratch. From them, she learned: discipline builds direction, and resilience finishes the journey.
